I believe in celebrating life's moments, and taking the time to celebrate them well.  


I have rarely met a party that I didn’t love. Something about people gathering together with great food, bubbly cocktails, and engaging conversation feeds my soul and leaves me wanting more. I opened The Happy Hour Hostess in 2013 as a small event planning company with the core values of  hard work, dedication to excellent customer service, and a commitment to ongoing education for myself and my staff. Those values  remain as The Happy Hour Hostess continues to grow, now serving some of the most amazing clientele on the East Coast. Event planning and design is my true passion. I am a certified wedding planner and certified floral designer.  Raised in Towson, MD, I now live in Virginia Beach with my brilliant husband and 2 beautiful children.   

My two favorite things about event planning are the connections I make with clients and the satisfaction of waking up on the morning of the big show knowing that we did everything required to ensure total success and that it is time to get up and make the magic.

With 11 years of experience in the event industry,  Krystinia brings her passion for perfection to The Happy Hour Hostess team and clients. Her attention to details, calm demeanor, and strong organizational skills are what make her our Lead Event Planner.  (Carrie is also convinced there is nothing on the planet that Krystinia cannot source for our clients!)

Krystinia's favorite thing about an event day is seeing the faces of the guests walking in, knowing they're taking in the beauty of the fully designed space event with fresh eyes.

Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Krystinia made the journey to Virginia in 2018. When she is not planning fabulous events, she and her husband, Ryan are traveling, making new adventures, and hiking with their Goldendoodle, Dansby!

Laura came to Happy Hour Hostess with six years of corporate event experience with Starbucks Coffee Company. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership in San Diego, California she joined the HHH team in 2021. She takes the lead on event design, and works onsite at events as both a lead and head assistant. When it comes to your wedding aesthetic, invitations, save the dates, and your overall wedding design she is your go to girl.

As a California native, she loves spending her time away from work at the beach with a book, listening to a good podcast, or finding the best restaurants in town.
